Profile
The twists and turns of life have taken Fiona Thomson on a complex journey. Growing up in the North East of Scotland she has always had a passion for creativity in many fields and spent her childhood absorbed in drawing, painting and music and also immersing herself in Scotland’s landscape during family visits to the mountains.
She began completing commissions for paintings while still at school and, although studying art was not an available option, studied music, architecture and literature to degree and postgraduate level. She has worked in various fields related to her studies and travelled throughout Britain and abroad and has now settled in quiet rural Aberdeenshire with her husband, where she lives surrounded by mountains and her dogs.
Fiona is now achieving increasing success with her paintings and they are held in private collections throughout Britain and overseas.
