Fiona Thomson MA (hons), MFA
Fiona is a painter, illustrator and photographer working from her studio in rural Scotland. She holds Masters degrees from Aberdeen University, and the Robert Gordon University where she gained a post-graduate MFA degree in Contextual Practice from Gray's School of Art. Fiona has also taken printmaking courses at Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen, and Edinburgh Printmakers.
Fiona has exhibited throughout the UK and her paintings are in collections in the UK and Overseas. She has often worked to private commission and maintains contact with several galleries. At the start of 2018 she had a painting exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh and in 2017 won the 'Robert Fountain Best Original Print Award' at the Society of Equestrian Artists for a drypoint etching.
