Fiona Thomson MA (hons), MFA
Fiona is a painter, printmaker and photographer working from her studio in rural Scotland. She holds Masters degrees from Aberdeen University, and the Robert Gordon University where she gained a post-graduate MFA degree in Contextual Practice from Gray's School of Art. Fiona has also taken printmaking courses at Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen, and Edinburgh Printmakers.
Fiona has exhibited throughout the UK and her paintings are in collections in the UK and Overseas. She has often worked to private commission and maintains contact with several galleries. At the start of 2018 she has a painting being exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh and has further exhibition plans for paintings later in the year.
She is also writing and illustrating a book featuring her small dog Peedie, and will be promoting this project through various social media platforms. She also takes part in Illustration challenges and competitions and will be participating in INKTOBER 2018
